Everyone hates Mottau, but he was solid for us. He was misplayed because he obviously had no business being a top pairing defensemen, but he would have been a more than respectable option on the bottom pair.

I'll agree to disagree here. Too many stupid mistakes and a lack of skill to make up for it. It is true that he was misused, but bad hockey is bad hockey. You don't get a pass because you aren't very good.

I also don't really hate anyone. I just don't want them on my team.

I agree that he was misused (should've been in 3rd pair at most). And it is better to let him go.
