how many morons buy beer based on the can design?

Some of the best craft beers are in cans. Some only can. Microbrews are starting to move that direction it seems.

Perhaps trying those would change my mind on the matter, but that makes no sense to me. The beers I have had both canned and bottled taste far better from the bottle than the can. I don't see why they would handicap themselves in that way.

Right now just got myself a 24 can of PBR. Plan this will take my most the Summer as I rarely drink and if I do I just go with spirit drinks.

More or less, but this is also the reason I generally just don't bother. I can make a mixed drink with extremely cheap alcohol twice as strong and still taste better.

Yeah I too usually will just make hard A drinks when and if I do drink, but if you're going to get a beer in a can, just go cheap.

There are a lot of craft beers, especially stouts that only come in a can.....usually a special type of can that you need to pour in a certain manner.....but to say all beer is better in a bottle is silly......do they even sale Guiness in a bottle? .....I think I saw they did start selling it in a bottle, but not sure......I know a good many stout beers are only available in a can though.....

True, I agree glass is superior. And drinking from a glass is better than drinking from a bottle.

But if you're out camping or fishing, then cans are the way to go.

I'd buy a cold beer in a can whose design was slightly convex, with a 1½" round pop top and another (slightly smaller) pop top on the bottom. Hell, it wouldn't even have to be convex...just put a pop top on both ends!

Never did understand why nobody's catered to the "shotgun" crowd.

Lol the only time I drink beer from a can anymore is to show someone up who thinks they're special because they can do a 20 second shotgun. But it's about 2 seconds to prep it.
