String ends here, I'm afraid. We never play them well it seems. I'll take one out of three and be extatic if we take it.
Saw your comment on last thread. My heart goes out to you darryl.String ends here, I'm afraid. We never play them well it seems. I'll take one out of three and be extatic if we take it.
A look at the Rangers' performance with each lead-off hitter used this season:
Player Record Runs Per game
Delino DeShields 10-7 4.18
Rougned Odor 8-6 4.79
Shin-Soo Choo 0-1 5.00

I like it but would switch Moreland and Fielder. My personal opinion --- when Choo comes back...
Odor
Mazara
Choo
Beltre
Desmond
Fielder
Andrus
Moreland
Wilson/Holaday
Only reason I'm batting Choo ahead of Beltre -- Belts does better as the #4 hitter. Otherwise, Belts @ 3, Choo 4, Des 5, etc

I would switch Moreland and Fielder too. Wish we could stick Rua in for Fielder and eventually Gallo. For that matter Choo DH and put DDJ out there. I am pretty much for anyone besides Fielder. I wish he would get on a hot streak but just don't see it happening.I like it but would switch Moreland and Fielder.

Choo is a better OF than DDJ.
Today is Prince's birthday. Anyone celebrating?
single or double?I recommend taking a shot at the start of every at bat.

I can understand pressure on Banister to play him but what I do not savvy is why play put in the four hole. Now that probably is Banister's decision and a very bad one.
