That's because if LWs were good enough at skating, they'd switch to center.

Keith Tkachuk is the 6th highest scoring LW. I'd give the tubby bastard a medal if I thought he wouldn't eat it.

LOL. I guess that scarcity of decent LWs is what would make a guy like Shanahan more valuable than another C then. There are still just as many LWs on a team as Cs.

I understand that one position is more high scoring than another. I still think that Shanahan accomplished more than Sundin in his career. The 600 goal club, for one, is more prestigious than any statistical club to which Sundin can claim membership.

Pavel Bure on the HHOF induction: "It is a great honor for me to make the HHOF. But I would have never made it there but for Pat Quinn. He was my first coach, my first GM and my first president. He's like a father to me." (via SovSport)

I always thought it was cute when big, burly Pat Quinn would refer to him as Pasha.

he looked like he was about 12 years old when he came here

Just watched a bunch of Pavel Bure highlites on TSN. they had one from the fox days of the glowing puck. I even said out loud WTF was that? I totally forgot about that era. I still shake my head on it

Dunno, I didn't really mind it. It made it easier for newbies to track the puck, and before the era before 10ADP HD televisions, it could be kinda hard to see it on occasions even for vets. I don't dislike it in principle, honestly.

I enjoyed the radar gun aspect of it.
And the fox robots
