Still hate the logo, but glad to have at least one stripe down middle. I must admit, the MAT Burgundy is solid.

How? there is no mascot. If they put a picture of a Commander in uniform, it would have been ridiculed by the far left. They had to stay bland b/c of all of the nonsense and where they play

i dont care about the far left , let them be offended , the FO screwed up because they did everything wrong , they should have had the name and mascot in place period and released it

the "w" is boring and based on what you are saying an act of cowardice as was this whole name change from day one

this rebrand has been botched by an incompetent FO

they failed to listen to the fans and predetermined what they were going to do . they botched the patch , the botched the fight song , and they have no back bone

its a boring helmet , sorry and no amount of excuses as to why its that way matters . its still boring

They look fine. Better than some stupid mascot mirage on the side of the helmet.more importantly I hope the offense continues to grow. The defense worries me.

I was sitting here thinking the other day .... so what the fuck is a Commander? It can be so many things. We do not have a mascot, of course the team didn't have a guy in Indian garb either. To me a Commander is an O-4 in the Navy. They can't do that. I was thinking "can we put something on the helmet other than the W. Not really. But when you think about it the Packers have a "G" .... the Browns have nothing, the 49ers have "SF" .... Chicago has a "C" ... the Rams have LA with a ram horn. I like the "W" a lot better than the numbers on the side of the helmet.

Anyhow I heard they are working on a mascot which I am assuming will be a sideline mascot. The Nationals have George Washington and several other presidents. I guess it will be interesting to see what they come up with.

They will always be the Redskins to me. They should retire the fight song. I think there were some choices that fans liked that would have at least let them keep some semblance of their history. I think RR sold Dan on the military theme from the beginning. Then too I am not sure Commander is a military term unless you are an O-4 in the Navy. It isn't what I wanted but they are not going to change back now.

I know this, the guys that were Redskins will always be Redskins to me. I guess these new guys can be Commanders.

I kind of like the Capital dome idea. When I was still working in the city and road past it I felt a sense of pride when looking at it. Of course inside it are 600+ clowns. I don't really think they command anything. Still I like the dome idea.
