Congratulations, Patrick Marleau, for your 1,000th game with the Sharks. I think his first game played was against the Coyotes at America West Arena in October 1997, but might be mistaken. Good to be working today, so I can see the highlights (lowlights) later.

Hey, maybe we can start with some positivity on these boards, starting with me. Lets go Sharks! Work hard. I say Patty has a big game. For us that are Giants fans, remember there is a long ways to go. I know we have been thru a lot of hardships as Sharks fans, but lets be thankful we have had a good team for a while. Just trying to bring some positivity, Im tired of being negative lol.

Wow, bad angle shot and a screen by Pavs get Marleau a goal in game 1,000. 1-0 Good guys....that's SO important against this team.

lol, and Heatley had jumped on for Seto and gets a +1 even though he should be a -1 (or at the very least even).

How do you feel about Taylor Doherty Cmon? Sorry, as a rule, I just can't trust anything I read on Hockeybuzz.

He's a work in progress. I haven't read what HB says about him but my scouting report from having seen a lot of him this year would look like:

He's improved his overall skating ability but still lacks a strong 1st two strides which would enable him to be more versitile in avoiding forechecking pressure.

Still suspect on his defensive zone coverage but this part of his game is also improving.

He sees the ice pretty well and has the ability to make strong outlet passes. With some added muscle he put on over the offseason he's added a little more physical play to his game.

I'm not sure how well his offensive game will translate to the pro level. If he developes to his full potential he could be a fair puck moving dman that can score 5-7 goals and 30-35 points.

I think the Pavs injury was a big reason why the Sharks struggled. I know he was tsruggling, but hes a one of the keys to our success. I would really like to see the Sharks be better in their own end. I wish they kept this stat, but the Sharks must have the most turnovers in their own zone this year.

Why is niemi evening dropping on that shot going wide? And back to the Pav's,Marleau, and Seto line.

Niemi needs to be pulled immediately, this will get ugly. He looks awful. He is not seeing the puck, when he does hes fighting it and is not reading plays. Also, I miss nabby I cant stand these butterfly goalies dropping so early.
