Don't let the season end in front of the fans.

A win tonight and I tip my hat and consider this season a success regardless of the Game 7 outcome. A loss tonight is not the end of the world, but certainly not a breakthrough either.

I think a lot of us knew some changes were in order once the Kings were down 3-0 (in the off season e.g. letting Brown go). Do people still feel the same in light of the resurgence in this series?

I am far from a hockey strategist, but as clear as day I can see a major change in that the Kings are standing up to San Jose's players at the blue line and not giving them a free path to the net (last two games). San Jose is going to get chances and they are going to score - they have too much taken not too. However, the Kings are also sharper with the puck. In 2012 they were not the fastest team on the ice, but they did have the crisper passing and flow from their net forward. I saw that in Game 5 and I had not seen it in awhile.

With that being said, sometimes your best defense is a good offense. When the Kings went up 3-0 the other night they forced the San Jose in taking forced shots from bad angles. Plus, San Jose saw fewer offensive chances because the Kings managed possession very well. If the Kings do not rely on their defense tonight, they have a great shot at forcing this to a game 7 - with all of the pressure on San Jose.

The Kings do have a habit of making new goalies look really good, but they have seen him a few times so tonight does not count as "new goalie"

Not just shooting, he races to pucks he cant get and puts pressure on SJ and its creating turnovers
