I'll go with the guy who should've scored in the last game and is perhaps most due for a goal.

Ghost is never going back to the Phantoms, not that he had much to worry about in the first place.

Can't you just imagine Couturier staying consistently this good? Being like a perfectly great 2C? Ugh, it makes me sick. I love the guy and love these glimpses of potential, but I just worry when and if it becomes consistent

really solid first 2 periods. the Sens scored on what seemed like their only 2 opportunities to me.

didn't see the 3rd, but it sounds like it was more of a 'hang on' period than anything else. Either way, 3 in a row!

While we should've scored a power play goal or two, it's really nice to get several at even strength. As quickly as Ottawa responded each time we took the lead, I never really felt nervous about the eventual outcome. It was a pretty solid effort from start to finish.

Read led the team in shots with 6 and is still way overdue for some goals. The whole second line continues to hum along. At this point, I would get Jake back with G asap. Ghost is really spoiling us here. His 6 points in 9 games match Del Zotto's in 25 games and he's getting way fewer minutes. He's so good statistically to date that his point average in our fantasy league is 5th overall among all Nhl defensemen. That is absolutely insane...

I don't want to get carried away so early on, but the kid is clearly a superstar in the making. Is there anything right now besides improving some defensively that will keep him from soon being a top pairing defenseman? His speed, skating, puck moving, shooting and overall offensive IQ all appear to be elite level. It is a breath of fresh air to say the very least.

I think in turn, Couts playing well makes someone like Simmer better - it's no coincidence that Simmer is playing well because Couts is playing better and vice versa - if the second line as a whole becomes consistent on a game to game basis, it makes them a much better team and it takes a lot of pressure off of the top line
