Game #16 The Finale - NY Jets vs Patriots 12/30/2018 1:00

This is the last game of the regular season and the New York Jets are coming to Foxboro.

They have been playing better as of late and seem to find a way to self destruct late in a game. They took the Packers to OT and had the ball on the 14 yard line and let loose a wet fart.

The Patriots cannot overlook these guys or they'll be playing a WC card and resting the injuries.

Doesn't appear that Patterson will play this week. Slight knee sprain when his lower leg got swept on his final carry against the Bills. I'm not looking for the Patriots to score big. Hopefully 31 should be do it.

Sam Darnald missed a month due to a foot injury but has played extremely well over his last three games by throwing 6 TDs and playing excellent controlled offense.. He put a cherry on top of his sundae this week against the packer throwing for 341 yards, 3 TDs, 1 INT and a QB rating of 128.1.

Jets coach Tod Bowles is rumored to be coaching his last game as Jets HC. The NY Daily News says that the lack of discipline on the team starts with the coach and lashing out at the officials after last week's game didn't help his cause.

Well, while it's not a must win it's damn sure an important game.

I think the Pats do enough to win and try to prevent injury. Heavy dose of the run game

There must be no last minute surprises ala Miami or pathetic appearance like against the Titans or Detriot.

They must win this game.

I think the Jets will give them more than enough to handle but I expect a victory!

Don't be surprised if Gronk sits out this week. If they can get him to 70% for a game in two half weeks, that's better than having him 50% in two weeks. I've watched the Buffalo game three time on DVR and heis not moving well at all. If you get a chance watch it again. When he goes to the sideline, do you ever see him bend over or bend forward at all, even once? He's as stiff as a board. His back is messed and I'd be willing to bet my bank accounts that he's going to have another surgery at the end of this season.

Patriots defense is playing very well today. This is the type of game that they really needed before having two weeks off.

Stopping the Jets on the five and taking over ob downs is perfect.

Ok Tommy, let's eat up all 4:28 that's left on the clock and score something to end the half.

Derek Rivers gets his first career sack and the game is at half time 21-3 Patriots.

Pats moved downfield almost flawlessly until the 2 minute warning. Josh had to much time to ponder the next series and the offense just stalled. How about letting TB12 call the plays during the 2 minutes before the half and at the end of the game?

Brady is 16/22 for 163 Yards and 3 TDs in the first half.

Brady throws a beautiful pass to Gronk and Allen gets a bad call for Off. Pass Interference. Defender had him wrapped up and he threw the guy off.

Then McDaniels tries to get it all back with 3 long pass plays insteadof three short pass plays that would easily get it back. This is the kind of shit that gets them in trouble and they end up having to fight like hell to finish a game.
