btw davis played the 25 th so 26 be his first day on the dl . 4 days dl in april 11 in may so 15 th day is the 11 th if anyone cares ? davis had that shot done like britton did to his shoulder .

I'm fine with their putting him on the dl when they did. As Jones opined at the time, better to do it then than have Davis fight through it day-to-day and possibly make a kinda bad situation far worse. If obliques take a long time to heal, better to nip a small injury in the bud now rather than have it worsen and put a stamp on his whole season. And it helps that our bottom of the order is looking a lot better. I think I'm willing to have Cruz out in the left field (along with the defense that goes with it) rather than Lough out there with his capable defense and practically non-existant bat. Same with Flaherty.
