Yes, they would be worse in 2018, but much better in the long run. For 2018 not to be lost a whole lot of things would have to fall in place including the Rangers finding an additional $30-40 million to spend.

i don't think we have anyone who is going to bring any top prospects so any help is going to have to signed or we can go with hamels, perez, martinez, griffin & biben-dirkx

I don't think we can get a haul of top prospects. We can get a handful of Matt Harrison types though.

Let's think about it a minute. Beltre Gomez and Nap injured. Hoying Rua and Robinson is their replacements. Who do YOU use in late innings with a bench like that. No win situation.
