I've always liked Kaman as a serviceable center. He'd be a nice fit as a back up to Pau.

It looks like the Lakers are going for Kaman; as far as trading him for Asik goes, Houston would have to be convinced it is good for them.

If Asik is so bent on being a starter that he is wanting out of Houston, then a solid backup like Kaman might be the best thing for them. As we all know, one guy being unhappy with his role can mess up a teams chemistry!!

In all probability, Lamar Odom will finish out his career in LA. The word I've been reading is he is wants to walk across the hall and re-unite with Pau, Metta, and Kobe when Kobe returns. Money might be an issue but since Jamison is signing with the Clip Joint, Odom's re-signing window is closing with them.

Chloe does not want Lamar to go anywhere either (if that matters and in this case it apparently does). I think he has about a couple of years left. I expect him to sign with the Lakers.

Also, SB Nation is reporting that Metta is going to be amnestied. They are definitely getting under teh cap the hard way. After losing both Clark and Jamison, looks as though Odom is on the way.

I'd rather they not amnesty Metta!! Gonna miss some of the crazy stuff he says!! If Dwight wanted to be a Laker, half as bad as Metta did, we might have had something!!

This is not too bad of a line-up and maybe they'll actually play team basketball with Nash, Meeks, re-signing Goudelock and Morris. Not too bad at all.

I'd be surprised if Pau went to Houston!! He's be paired with Dwight and the 2 of them never got comfortable on the floor together!!

I like Asik, but I think I'd rather keep Pau and re-build the roster after next season!!

Take the above with at least a little grain of salt because Pau is my favorite Laker!! I'd rather trade Kobe than Pau!!

What do you think of this lineup?

C - Pau
PF - Hill
SF - Lamar
SG - Kobe (when he comes back)
PG - Nash

This gives 3 guys (Pau, Lamar and Nash) who are excellent and willing passers, along with Kobe who is an excellent passer (although not necessarily willing) and Hill for energy, defense and rebounding!!

Kaman can backup both the Center and PF spots and Hill can also play both spots!! Then you still have Sacre, Kelly, Ebanks, Goudelock and Morris!! It would be interesting to see the development of Goudelock and Morris with Nash there to learn from!!

I was thinking of a trade with the other Texas team. Pau for Marion and V. Carter. then sign odom and have a line up of
