Home field really only truly shows up in the 2nd round.
That round tends to see the high seeds win and look good more often.

The Wildcard round and Conference Title rounds usually have 2 more evenly matched opponents.
Road Teams always play much better in the 1st and 3rd rounds even if they dont win.

Obviously there are exceptions, but over time it holds to be true mostly.

So hawks going the length of the field and getting the only TD had no impact in that win. Gotcha.

I haven't read any Seattle fan that didn't suggest the Vikings choked the FG win away.

There are always lots of truths in every game and various perspectives on them.

Vikings didn't have any score that the Seahawks didn't basically hand them. Botched punt, and two drives riddled with ridiculous defensive penalties. Seattle's offense was equally as inept and yet found a way to turn a broken play into a huge late game score. Then the defense attempted to yet again give the Viks a final score and they appeared to not want that gift.

In the end the better team won. I'll guarantee you Cam probably slammed his TV on that botched FG. No one wants this team left alive. Everyone is going to pick against them this week and that's fine. We are used to it. Carolina won't be quite as dismissive I'll assure you.
