Miami had to win once in this series

And hopefully the trend of this series keeps up of Miami winning the odd number games while Indy won all the even number games.

i hope so. i do think miami wins. but i hate the one game thing. in one game someone could come out and go 11/12 shooting or a team could go 14/18 from 3. To much craziness can happen in just one game. But that's where we are. Go heat.

I agree. We dropped the ball in that 3rd quarter. As bad as we played it was great to be up 1 at the half then we just came out and laid an egg in the 3rd.

Tmr we need to dominate from start to finish. I want us to win every quarter tmr.

I dont view what he said as implying that. I think he is saying him and bosh need to help out and not leave it up to Lebron. Lebron (from what it seems) is trying to will the heat to victory and not getting much help. Wade is right that the team (coaches included) need to figure out how to get bosh and wade the ball so they could be more effective. Wade and Bosh I think will have good games tomorrow.

Anyway we need to play with a sense of urgency from start to finish. Dominate this game from start to finish. 48 minutes of domination.

This is our hardest test of the playoffs...Not even the Spurs will be as tough on us if we make it to the finals. Indiana matches up perfectly with us because of their size and unlike Memphis, they actually have a damn good perimeter player they can always go to in George.

I agree with Wade's message as Lebron should try to get his team more involved. However, looking from the outside view, can you really blame Lebron for trying to play hero ball? 2/3 of the Big 3 have been non-existent for the majority of the series. At the beginning we thought we had the best 3 players on the court followed by Indiana's 3, but that isn't the case now.

When Bosh goes 1 of 8 and that one basket by some miracle bounced in, then that doesn't give confidence to Lebron for giving the ball to Bosh.

The Heat better play with intensity tomorrow and yes, winning every quarter is a great idea. The only players that should be coming off the bench tomorrow are Cole, Miller, Birdman and Ray Allen sparingly.

Could not sleep last night and woke up this morning feeling nervous/anxious.

Here is the reality of the situation.

Tonight could really be our last meaningful game until next April.

Anyway here is my prediction for the game tonight.

Heat win 97-86

LBJ drops 33, 9, and 7

Wade and Bosh both chip in with 16+ points

We hold George under 20 points and the rebounding battle ends up close to even

Off to work now. I may post in the afternoon or I may not post until during the game.

Hopefully we'll have another gameday thread thursday for G1 of the NBA Finals

Wade is correct in saying LBJ is trying to do too much at times - Those who like giving LBJ a pass will say “ can you blame him? No one else is stepping up” Even when others are stepping up, Lebron has a tendency to try to do too much but he doesnt always get too much blame for it because he is LBJ - Wade is the same way, at times he tries to do too much, even more so when things arent going his way. But, Wade is the same way without a doubt.


Point is, they need to stop talking, stop pointing fingers and look in the mirror and do even more themselves and that is all there is to it.

Bosh says it's not on the coaches to free him: "I just have to go out and play."

Sadly, if the Heat fall short tonight, it seems like CB would be the likely casuality as far as making changes for this team - But, he is just as much, if not more of a luxury to have on this team than LBJ - Yeah, the guy struggles, but he never throws a single person under the bus for it - He admits to it and adjust accordingly. Makes no excuses. Remember his reaction when we failed to reach our goals in year 1, it hurt him more than anyone on the team. Hopefully LBJ plays his game tonight, but rather than force the issue, make sure you get others involved early and often as opposed to forcing it, complaining. If LBJ just will make the right decisions tonight if it is not going well for him as opposed to force it - Otherwise, he has no room to throw his guys under the bus.

Mine is, D-Wade will have himself a great game and all talk about his knee and “injuries” will go away, at least for one game... I think we could use a break from excuses. Who isn’t hurting at this point of the season? Only the guys not in the playoffs still.
