Save for Andrew Wylie, I thought the offensive line played pretty well overall. It was amazing how having a competent center can make such a HUGE difference. Paul looked pretty good too at left guard. It’s really a shame Ron took this long to make changes that were obvious to even the most common fan.

I didn’t want to pile on rookie Emmanuel Forbes in such limited snaps, but it’s pretty clear he’s not even remotely ready for this level of football. I just hope this “staff” didn’t ruin the young man.

now its wrong to not give guys time to develop however you cant have a hole draft in which no rookies contribute much . in this era of football you have to have contributions from your rookie class , more on this later

1. Forbes is not a bust and doesn't sux.
2. Forbes isn't ready and may simply be an average nfl starter in his career.

You have to put guys in a position to succeed. I said after we drafted Forbes that he would struggle with AJ Brown…even mentioned the exact player. The size and strength mismatch is too much to overcome. Forbes will struggle with big WRs. Forbes is not typically getting beat on the routes. His coverage is usually pretty good but you can’t put

Forbes (6’1” 166 pounds) on

AJ Brown (6’1” 226 pounds)

DJ Moore (6’ 210 pounds)

especially when both are allowed to initiate contact or push off.
