Depends on team. IMO Goodell picks and chooses punishment without any ground rules.

Ppl saying that albatross contract , he’s not tradeable are wrong. Eagles eat money and whoever trades him gets what is it 3 or 4 years in the middle 20 mill range. If you think he’s fixable you do it. But man howie the cap genius....

Yeah. There was an article on overthecap about some options for the Eagles. One was sort of a dream scenario for the Eagles but it was a restructure of Wentz’s contract so that he could then be cut/traded early this offseason.

That would be interesting.

Philly is in cap hell. They get it!
The only choices are:
Convince some team to take there place in cap hell, or
Convince Wentz to take a drastic cut in pay, or
Make Wentz want to get out of Philly, that should be easily done!

The eagles are already well over the hard cap. No transactions needed. So what is the NFL not gonna allow?

Dear Football Gods,
Please do not send Carson Wentz to Denver. Please let Denver continue to hold onto Drew Lock as their QB and John Elway as their GM. Lock and Elway are like the 11th and 12th players on the field for the Chiefs two games out of the year.
