Hmm so MVP = must play in finals.
Ok let's line up all those MVP who didn't win a title the same year. Next in line is Lebron. It's a long list..
I think you missed the "solid supporting cast" part.
LeBron has won the Championship both times he was the MVP and had a "solid supporting cast."

Just 8 days ago, Serge Ibaka was the greatest player in the history of the sport.
Now, suddenly KD has no supporting cast?????
Make up your minds...
Solid supporting cast? That's a good one. You do realize that damn near all of their points tonight came from 4 players and only 5 players scored tonight?
All questioning aside......Its unfair to compare Durant to Lebron.
Lebron might be the greatest player in the history of the game.
Despite all the hatred sent his way, LBJ might end up with zero peers including MJ.
Durant is a great player, but Lebron is on some stratosphere with guys like Babe Ruth, Wayne Gretzky, Joe Montana......
