Not regularly, but sometimes (usually after a night of overindulgence in the alcohol department) I crave a McDonald's coke. Something about the bubbles that helps my hangover/dehydration. If there was a five gallon bucket size, I would order it.
Other than that, sometimes I really, really want a Sunkist Orange soda or a Strawberry Fanta, but that's maybe once every few months or so.

No, I'm not a 12 year old :L

I love Coke but haven't had it in years and can't ever imagine drinking sodas again. It's liquid death. I got my kids off of it years ago too. We only drink water.

I know, but that does not change the fact that a coke with a slice is pure heaven.

It's almost impossible to go through a week and not have to settle for a soda at some point. But other than water and sugar, there's absolutely nothing in soda that the body can use. It's a shit load of empty calories.

I've pretty much switched to anything with antioxidants...OJ, coffee, tea, grape juice. Been buying pom juice and some other all nautral fruit drinks as well. I don't seem to drink near as much liquids this way and it's become easier to keep my weight down.

The best bennie is not getting sick as much and no snow blindness. The anti-Os are taking charge.

I am going to sound like a metrosexual hipster, but I quit carbonated soda two weeks ago in a drive to shed a few pounds and I have never felt better. Very well could be that I'm drinking more water now instead, but after drinking 1-2 soda's a day I'm already down 3 pounds in just 10 days. I've done nothing but cut out cokes. Still drink coffee.

If I got off of it, anyone can. I was hooked bad. I used to get the shakes all the time and I was overweight. Not anymore! And it saves a ton of money too.

coffee is fine. as a matter of fact there was an article yesterday that said even 3-5 cups a day (I only have 2) is ok and can prevent heart disease and diabetes, but there is a caveat to that. That doesn't include coffee laden down with sugar and creamers.

A guy at work here used to weigh in at 350ish....had ankles the size of my thighs. It's been over a year now and he's down to 225 and the only thing he's done is quit drinking soda's. His love was mountain dew and that stuffs just one big sugar pill.

I don't care much for diabetes, so I don't drink any soda with sugar/corn syrup.

I'll have a diet soda once in awhile, but even sugar substitutes do funky things to your blood sugar, as well as cravings for real sugar, which I try to avoid altogether, really.

I drink a lot of this stuff, though.
