That whole sequence leading up to the goal should really seal Zidlicky's fate.

And that in summary is one of the biggest problems I have with PDB running this team. NO ACCOUTABILITY (except for young players).
I agree this team needs some more talent to really compete but if one of the young D played the way Zid did they would be benched for years....
I agree Devilish. Same problem I have. I mean I guess Brunner wasn't super young but certain guys under PDB just aren't held accountable. I guess part of issue is who do you replace Zids with?
The thing is however like you said, this team lacks talent. I mean the fact we signed Gomez who everybody here thought was a long shot shows this is the case.
Guys like Jagr who aren't playing for the money still believe in PDB's system. So until we here players take shots at PDB, I don't think they will fire him.
What we have is a team that lacks talent who also had some serious injury issues thus that is where they are at. Most if us predicted a long season, especially with this young defense and old offense.
