Louis Delmas says the team's practice plan for him is working

Sounds like the staff is being cautious with him(for good reason) but that he will ultimately be ready for the first regular season game. He and Quin manning the back of that secondary sounds great. Let's hop they both stay healthy all year.

If its was his groin that was the issue, I'd guaranfuggintee you he'd be ready for week 1. If LD plays 11+ games, we make the playoffs.

At least the home opener is week one this year, so we'll get to see all of the starters together...

I sure hope so! This will be my fourth straight opener, and I'm planning on it being the deepest, most talented, and best football team yet in the current Lions era.

I love his contract being basically per game style. He should play through some of the nagging injuries he will get. Yes! I feel he will get injured to some extent. His style of play is why. I do not feel he is soft, just plays wreckless and all out...

Hear me out: Years ago (Delmas' rookie year) I knew this club rat who swore up and down that Delmas gave her herpes. Then I noticed he is always out with "groin injuries". Coincidence? I can't tell.
