Finally saw a replay. It looked like it hit the right cheek area. He likely has some sort of facial fracture. If it hit the cheek area, he likely would avoid any serious brain injury.

It's not good but it's better than a skull fracture with brain swelling where they need to remove some of your skull to relieve the pressure.

They have Thursday off. That means they won't need a 5th starter till Friday May 8th. Chip said in the post game presser, that Bradley will likely go on the 15 day DL & a relief pitcher will likely be added.

My guess is that Delgado will get the start on May 8th.

In last night's game, Reed came in when it was 12-4 in the 9th inning. He could not even get out of the inning without giving up a run. 8 run lead and he still gives up a run. So far this season he is 0-1 with 1 save, 1 blown save, a 4.50 ERA, and a WHIP of 2.17. He has let runners score in each of his last three appearances, even though one of those games was an inherited runner. His career ERA is 4.21. His ERA last season was 4.25. He had three full seasons of experience prior to this season because his first year he only played in 6 games. In two of those three full seasons, he has a NEGATIVE WAR. It is negative! This guy is so terrible. Get him off the team.
