I can't pull against the kid just because he grew up so close to where I live, but I just won't be able to pull for the 24.

I think he runs a handful of races next season, but I'm not sure if he runs at Daytona or not.

I've always been a proponent of hitting batters instead of intentionally walking them. Speeds up the pace of the game and prevents embarrassing airmails on a soft toss pitch.

If Gordon runs part time, one of the races will be the Daytona 500. It has the biggest payout of the season, and is NASCAR's most prestigious race.

Eh, I think the big Chevy owners(Hendrick, Stewart/Haas and Childress) are smart enough to know that Daytona and Talladega are crapshoots. If it happens at Atlanta next week, then the bitching may commence.

I'll be at the Atlanta race, the Spring Talladega race and the Southern 500 this year.

Except he was right. Your hatred of him just makes you say stupid things. And Jeffro is right as well. Gordon said he won't be running the 500 or any other plate track because he doesn't like plate racing. In interviews he's said if he runs any more races, it'll likely be short tracks, road courses, or some of the tracks he enjoys (Darlington, Indy, etc).

Race was ok. Wished they would have raced to the line but hey, what are you gonna do? NASCAR is rarely consistent on that kind of thing. They use to say any spin whatsoever is a caution. Now sometimes they race back, other times they don't.

I haven't been the most observant person for nascar over the past few years. But they still do this with manufactures complaining about other things?

Last time I remember this stuff was in the late 90's early 2k's. I thought the new car was supposed to eliminate this stuff?
