I agree to a point. He was basically fired for insubordination because he all but refused to work to fit Westbrook in.

He told them when they were considering trading for him that he didn't want because he was a bad fit.

They got Westbrook anyway and he all but refused to coach him.

So, by not listening to a coach who had just coached them to a title...they set up a situation that resulted in them having no choice but to fire him.
