Something we missed , should have challenged it

I'm confused, what is there to challenge? He voluntarily stepped OOB, came back in and the first to touch the football. Result equals no catch. What am I missing here?

Week 2 vs Dallas:
While this could be a feel-good type week since we are hosting the "girls" and, AP much to the chagrin of Gruden, makes his first start of the season, something tells me the "feel-good" will only feel painful by games end. Let's look at each matchup that ultimately matters most. While I want the Skins to win (If we only beat Dallas 2x, and no one else) I would be extremely happy with that.

Dallas OL vs Skins DL = Advantage Dallas (games won or lost here, no Allen)
Dallas DL vs Skins OL = Advantage Dallas (games won or lost here)
Dallas WR vs Skins DB = Advantage Dallas (our weak link on D)
Prescott, Zeke, Cooper, Cobb, Witten > Keenum, AP, Tmac, Reed/Davis

Unless Dallas completely implodes on the road, they win by 2 TD's.

Yep when I saw that live I was like "challenge it" Then when the reply showed that he first stepped out of bounds I was like "OK - no TD". This clearly was no TD.

If the Redskins put up a decent effort but still get beaten soundly - so be it. I can deal with that (I wont be super happy but won't be as frustrated). What will be hard to take is if they again tackle sloppy, blow assignments, have numerous penalties & do things to beat themselves. They simply need to play within their capabilities & minimize mistakes. If the talent on the other side is better there is not much they can do about that rt now. HTTR

I agree completely with this SoCal. The problem is, "if" the continued (tackle sloppy, blow assignments, have numerous penalties & do things to beat themselves) continues this week, then what? For some reason, Gruden cannot put all 3 phases together in one game.

Ok I’ll bite then what? So 2 games are the standard ? Look playing out this hard stretch will separate what’s going on . Then make changes if you think we are playoff bound .

I say let it ride and either we make the playoffs or we don’t and the staff will be gone period if we don’t

Then we can hire o Connell get Bowles on defense , or put up tomsula and drive on

Or we can gut the whole thing , bring in a new coach. And wait a few more years till he gets his guys for his system so you can get impatient again after game 2. Next year
