I don’t doubt this is the case (this is what I expect), but I am not seeing this anywhere.

Baggs:

Giants manager Bob Melvin originally reported that Lee sustained a separated shoulder, which might have indicated that he would miss weeks instead of months, but the Giants later clarified that it was, in fact, a dislocation. A dislocation is a more significant injury that often requires surgery; Boston Red Sox shortstop Trevor Story underwent season-ending surgery after dislocating his shoulder while diving for a ground ball on April 5.

Veteran outfielder David Peralta opted out of his minor league contract with the Cubs and is now a free agent. Read more at MLB Trade Rumors.

Peralta is at least assessing the situation and hoping for a big league deal from the Giants. Wouldn’t be surprised at all if this happens.
