They should stop extending Jerry Jones.

It will be interesting to see what happens if all that young talent and this years experience translate into a deep play-off run next year. We could see a few more years of the clapper yet. Not predicting that scenario, mind you. Just putting it out there. The team has some players and isn't that far off from serious consideration. Garrett just has to get them to live up to their potential. As much of a joke Jerrah is at times, the guy has been a solid GM in respect to drafting and acquiring talent.

Nah, jerry sucks at player evaluation. The drafts have only improved because his son and Mclay are for the most part picking the players now. When jerry ran the draft exclusively the results were terrible

I don't know why you guys keep ignoring Garrett in the draft equation and giving Stephen credit. Stephen knows no more about players than Jerry does he is just more level-headed when listening to those that do. McClay and his group are doing an amazing job and GARRETT is the voice that has swung most of our choices. Two things the Cowboys have improved on with the draft: Listening to their great head scout McClay and letting Garrett make the calls, not Jerry or Stephen. Those two just bless the final move and will of course never give that up, but they aren't picking players. Stephen's biggest draft day contribution to date has been telling Jerry we aren't taking Manziel...which was of course absolutely huge for us since we took Martin instead

I like Garrett. Perhaps, he can take over at Alabama when Saban retires.

Yep, since Jerry got out of the way it has gotten better. Their player evals are actually pretty decent now

Coach Garrett saved his job with the finish the Cowboy's had, I"m kinda surprised they don't extend him for at least a couple years, just see where this goes.... They have a little momentum brewing...

That would be great for Dallas. I can’t stand him either but he is a fantastic coach. It would make me hate Dallas even more.

He's got that sort of Jack Nicholson Joker upturn of the corner of his mouth. Makes him appear to smirk.

Yes he has an ego the size of Texas but I think Jerry has a plan in place to go get him if Garrett fails this season. If Parcells would have retired just a little earlier he most likely would have been the next Cowboys coach instead of Wade.
I will take him all day and twice on Sunday
