It was pretty grim if not for Cory 17-1 SOG in the 3rd.....

Definitely all Cory, but these types of stolen games are what we hoped we were getting with him.
Gomez has been pretty good. He and Jagr seem to click. The Jagr pass to Henrique was a hell of a play too.

How about Kinkaid? Even better game all around then Cory the other night I thought.
Can't blame him in shootout. Faces 2 all stars with Toews and Kane, meanwhile our team answers with Havlat and a guy who said many times he hates shootouts.
Also, great penalty kills tonight. The 4 minute and the one in OT.

Ryder, all alone, got to finish that.

Would love to see the effort from the last 2 nights every game. We arent good enough to beat teams like the Blackhawks most of the time but to fight for a point was nice to see. And thats playing with basically a minors squad out there.

The Rock sounded like a playoff game tonight. One of the more entertaining games Ive seen in awhile.

I thought they played well against Pitt, and I didn't watch against Isles, but also heard they didn't play bad. Minus Washington, and with all these injuries, this team isn't playing that bad.
I can tolerate a game like tonight. Yea it sucks they did't get 2, but just give me the effort like this every game. I knew this would be a long season anyway.
