Washington was a sneaky good team in 2019 and returns quite a bit. The Huskies should not be written off when it comes to picking a Pac-12 champion in 2020. New coach Jimmy Lake has a bunch of playmakers coming back on defense, but the offense will need time to come together.

Yes, we’re all dying of hilarity about that one...............AGAIN
Here is the way it work. Texas has mediocre seasons in a row. Texas wins 9 games in a year. Hype ensues over how good they will be and start the year in the top ten. Texas ends season unranked. Rinse and repeat.

I’m just shocked they had a paragraph about Texas but not much about Ok jr or ISU. Never mind, I’m not shocked at all.

Similar things could be said about Notre Dame and Michigan.

The Mountain West portion of the article stood out to me. Great example of unbalanced schedules having the potential to determine the champ. That shit shouldn't happen IMO.

SDSU avoids both Boise State and Air Force. smh

True and it’s actually worse in other conferences. The Mountain West only has 12 teams.

I don't think they're that bad. In the last five years, michigan has 47 wins (3 double digit win seasons), ND has 46 (4 double digit win seasons), and Texas has 35 (1 double digit winning season). They both finish ranked far more often than not. Texas is basically the inverse.

This part of the article was hilarious, talking about Texas.

"While replacing both coordinators seems like a bit of a panic move in response to not living up to unjustified 2019 expectations, and the concern over neither new coordinator being able to install his scheme in spring practice, the Longhorns are still the clear No. 2 threat in the league. "

That's gold, Jerry, gold.

Yeah right now I’m not sure how anyone could think they are #2 in the B12. Okjr and ISU look like they have damn good teams.

Wow. Seven wins a year when teams routinely play 13 to 14 games per season in a conference that features one high level team. It’s not been good for 11 years and running now. When teams like Texas and USC struggle it just blows my mind, should never happen in a million years. Look at USC and the way that program is run from the very top down. It’s a complete mess. I don’t get it.

And nonetheless, both are usually over hyped and over ranked.

I like ISU in that spot but I'm not as high on Okie Lite.

As someone that lives in this state and knows the resources available at Texas and Texas A&M, there is no excuse for either one of them not performing well 9 out of every 10 years. None, zip, nada.
