I had forgotten that stupid Wisconsin QB in 2013. My favorite part were all the Wisconsin fans saying he put his knee down at :01, when no ref, announcer, or players (including the QB) seemed to think so. The weirdest thing was that was a fumble, so Wisconsin shouldn't have even had the chance to snap the ball again.
Also, Hell's Bells is way too cool of a song to allow Kansas to play it.
i remember kansas st getting an unsportsmanlike flag because their receiver saluted the crowd after scoring a td to cut the deficit to 2 with no time left against syracuse. it forced them to try to convert a 2 pt convo from the 17. i still say that ref was an asshole for throwing the flag.
Neither compilation included the 1975 North Texas State victory at Tennessee. The listless Vols had surrendered three touchdowns on stupid mistakes - 1. Deep in UT territory, QB Gary Roach faked right, then pitched left into the hands of blitzing NT LB, Burkholder at the 8 yard line. Mean Green RB, Woods would score a TD. 2. On the ensuing kick-off, UT returner, Jeff Moore would fumble. North Texas recovered, and once more, Woods would score a rushing TD. 3. After UT tied the score at 14 apiece, Woods would receive the kick-off and return it 98 yards for his 3rd TD of the game. Behind 21-14, Tennessee's offense finally moved the ball downfield in workmanlike fashion. Out of timeouts and the seconds ticking away, UT's QB would throw the ball out of bounds to stop the clock after time had expired... There were two Tennessee receivers open in the endzone. An ignominious loss.
