College OT is how all football should do OT. Only change I would make is back it up to the 35.
Move it back to the 50 and I agree with you

I'm probably good with the 35 or 40.
I'd have to do some serious research on it though. I always want the better team to win, and these multiple OT games obviously aren't the answer.
Maybe you get it at the 40 and you have 6 downs to score? Or something of that nature. No 1st downs or anything like that. I dunno, just hem-hawing.
Something different than what it is currently. I'm not saying it should be like the NFL but the whole starting at the 25 is just pretty ridiculous IMO.
Why? Because about once a year we get a game that goes into multiple overtimes and everyone has a great time watching it? Most of the time the game is resolved in the first or second overtime. When a team can win a game without gaining a single yard then something is wrong lol

They can, but how many times have you seen that happen? If your team is comfortable just trotting out and going straight for about a 42 yard field goal, you must have one of the best kickers in college football.
FG's are not automatic. Putting the teams in scoring range ends the games quicker.
They'll never change that part.
I know your pain way too well.I'm not comfortable with Alabama doing that from the 1.
How does it not work? Can't disagree. I'll really need to think on this one.
The current system doesn't work. It simply doesn't. Gotta find something better.
I just haven't really thought about it enough to form a solid opinion. Up front, there are a huge amount of troubling questions whichever way you want to go.

Texas A&M 74, LSU 72. Enough said. Do it like the NFL does. Damn.
NFL OT isn't perfect but it is better than CFB.
