It's an "easy" schedule, but then again, the Bengals tend to lose games they should win anyway.

For some reason then at the end of the year it seems like you win the games you should lose.

Looking at our schedule makes you believe the league is truly a league of haves and have-nots...... Not a lot of gray area here.

Cleveland - Stinks
Denver - Stinks
San Francisco - Stinks
Buffalo - Stinks
Jacksonville - Stinks
Indy - Playoff team
Seattle - Stinks and might still make the playoffs
Tennessee - Stinks
Pittsburgh - Title contender
Baltimore - Title contender
Houston - gray area
St. Louis - On the way up.
Arizona - Who knows?

It's a pretty weak schedule. As bad as an offseason as it has been, we might end up winning 5 or 6 by accident.

Exactly, costing us the only consolation we might get: a top draft pick.

We do the same thing :L

we chose late in the year last year to suddenly start winning a lot of games

but we still got the 3rd pick at least, Dareus was the best option for us so I'm still happy

I'm not sure yet if Fitzpatrick is going to be our top option or not, we'll find out when the season starts. If he isn't the best option then chances are we'll be in contention for the top draft pick and getting Andrew Luck.

but if Fitzpatrick does play well I still hope we don't do too good because I don't want to miss out on the great offensive linemen in next year's draft.

That was my thought. You wrote stinks up beside the bad teams, but don't forget:

Bengals-Stinks

The Bengal homers are in full effect, rationalizing that A Smith will be a better RT, we have depth at G, our LBs are better. I see a rookie QB, a bunch of castoffs at LB, the same crap on the O-line, and the same moron at HC. I think 5 or 6 wins based on the schedule, but Dalton will have to blow up and the O-line improve vastly to win 8 or more.

Oh, don't get me wrong - I know we stink. This is about as bad of shape as we have been in since 2000.

Dalton will be good, but your offensive line is a problem

just like ours :L

I think you guys win

one game against Cleveland

beat Denver and Seattle(Seattle will absolutely suck this year with Tavaris Jackson at quarterback)

and beat one or two out of Tennessee, Arizona and Jacksonville

and then for the end of season game you're not supposed to win you beat Baltimore.

I agree about the O-line. There's absolutely no evidence to support Andre Smith being worth anything. Livings is our starting LG. Bobbi Williams is old. Boling is unproven. Collins can't crack the lineup. I'm not sure where so much optimism is coming from.

While the NFL is a league of haves and have-nots, it doesn't take much for a "have-nots" to become a "haves", and vice verse. Look no further than Seattle and Tampa Bay last season on one side of the equation and Cincy and Minnesota on the other.

all Andre Smith is looking like is a major waste of money and a draft pick.

And I agree, I fully expect us to win 5-6 games. Unfortunately.

at least you won't be like us where we went 7-9 each year, causing us to suck but at the same time not get a good draft pick either :L

the 7-9 area is probably the worst to be in for that reason

you either want to completely suck(maybe not as bad as the Lions a few years ago that would be plain embarrassing) or do really good.

Titans will be a mediocre team, nothin special. I say 7 to 8 wins would be consider a success.

I know what you meant, but 7-8 wins is NEVER a success.

You're in the middle of nowhere.

Unless of course you're Mike Brown. Then you can take those 7-8 wins and multiply it by the arctan of the inverse square root of the number of "draft pick games played over the last tens years" divided by 2. We're usually top 3 in the league.

I guess it just depends on your expectations. The Titans had a 13 win season a few years ago but haven't done much since. I really don't know what to expect this season, maybe they will surprise me......but I doubt it.
