IMO a totally underrated item I like to use on beef, chicken or fish is lemon pepper.

Yep...

I'll take skinless Chiken breasts pound them flat, pat dry, roll em in a egg wash and bread them in a mixture of bread crumbs, Kraft dry Parmesan cheese and lemon pepper, fry em up in EVO and then top dress with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice. Season with sea salt to taste when done.

Outstanding...:suds:

My infamous BBQ rub (portions obviously depend on how much meat):

1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup paprika
1 tablespoon Chilli Powder
1 tablespoon Garlic Powder
1 tablespoon Onion Powder
1 tablespoon Cayenne
1 tablespoon Pepper
1 tablespoon Salt

Put the rub on and let them sit in the fridge for a minimum of 30 mins. The longer it is left to sit, the more it will take on the flavor of the rub. After that, you can make them any way you like: grilled or baked. I like to brine the breasts first to make them juicier but not necessary for quick meals. Definitely recommend it if you are grilling.

Try a teriyaki sauce (my fav store bought is a pineapple-saki blend) mixed with unfiltered apple cider vinegar marinade and spray/baste it as needed on the grill sometime. Gotta nice little zing to it.

I think I posted this before but can't find it

Just want baked chicken, what is a good spice blend to make it better

I like to use fresh ground pepper, kosher sea salt, parsley, cracked red pepper and some garlic powder. 45 minutes at 350 and then broil for another 10 to crisp up the skin. I like to bake carrots with it and once done I remove everything from the pan and dump brown rice in there to soak up all that goodness

I do something just about the same but the deli by me has an awesome parmesan that is worlds better than the kraft. Most folks don't take the time to pound the breast flat and it makes a big difference

No offense to anyone, but any marinade you can buy, you can make at home, minus all the preservatives and what have you.

I never buy marinades. I have all the ingredients for em' already.

I make a cajun/parmesan chicken. Olive oil, baking powder, cajun seasoning, parmesan cheese and cayenne pepper. Marinade for 30 minutes or so and then let it bake for 25-30 minutes.

Baking powder? For the acidity of the marinade?
