Don't really have a preference, but I always enjoy pulling for the underdog so I'd like to see Lara win

I don't think Canelo would want any part of GGG, but would love to see that fight.

After reading the recap it sounds like it was a pretty competitive fight to me.

One judge had it 115-113 for Canelo and another had it 115-113 for Lara

Then, in a typical case of ass-backwards judging, one judge had it 117-111 for Canelo

It could have been a draw. But they got the right decision in my eyes, Lara tried to fight like Mayweather but he made Mayweather look like a toe-to-toe boxer lol. Canelo landed more power shots and I don't think I saw Lara throw many hooks or power shots, if any at all. Even Mayweather throws power shots every once in a while. Canelo didn't take a step back the whole time.

I can understand why you wouldn't want to fight Canelo toe-to-toe but you got to do more than land 1 jab and run for 15 seconds.

The cut above Lara's eye was what pushed Canelo over the top to win.

well I hope you think that just because it is your opinion from watching the 2 fight.
If you think that simply because he hasn't been tested....... Well they said the same thing about Chavez Sr.
He destroyed Rosario for the title & then went on to win another 50 fights or so.

I just watch the skill of fighters & styles, not hype or their popularity.

Think it would be an awesome fight but are intelligent in the ring. But think Canelo would try to be too offensive, & with GGG's soul stealing body punches, would end up winning the fight.

GGG is (to me) the most techniquely sound fighter in a long time in boxing. He is never off balance & always at the right angle when landing punches. Also I think he might be the most avoided fighter in boxing right now. An undefeated fighter with a title, & not a single big name wants to try & notch him into their resume.

Think canelo has the balls to fight him but think he will look for Maidana or something to that nature

I didn't see the fight either but it was obviously competitive.

I can't say whether it was robbery or not but there is no way in hell it was 117-111

The most Lara could have gotten was a draw, but when Canelo cut him the fight was won. Floyd controls the pace of the fight, Lara just flat out ran.

I agree with this except I still think Cotto would get picked apart. It would be fun to watch though. Kind of like when Shane Mosley fought Canelo except less running.

What Lara did show is that Canelo has problems fighting with guys who don't try to battle him, he's got to improve his footwork and cut off the ring, only then will he have a chance at Mayweather (Mayweather will probably retire before then anyway) and others who try to win rounds by staying on the outside.
