Albies and Swanson could be out double play combo of the future. Albies is only 19 and Swanson only has like 81 professional at bats, so it'll likely be September at the earliest before we see them, but I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Markakis traded to make room for Mallex Smith. We'll definitely see him on the big club at some point this season.

Yeah, hopefully Wisler can build on his strong stretch run and a few of the other prospects pan out.

Yes, I got Albies name wrong...I really like what I've seen from Mallex so far this Spring. Pretty exciting to see the pieces start to come together and a clearer picture of the Braves' future starting to materialize!

If Inciarte and Swanson pan out like they are expected and Aaron Blair becomes just a serviceable the Shelby Miller trade will go down as one of the best trades in Braves history.

The losing right now is a bit painful, but I do think it's nice that we're getting great value for pretty well anyone we traded and we're not trading Adam Wainwright for a season of JD Drew and not trading Elvis Andrus, Neftali Feliz and Matt Harrison for basically a season of Mark Teixeira.

Yeah, cut bait on Chris Johnson's salary by taking on two albatrosses in Swisher and Bourn.

We acquired Tyler Moore from the Nats today as well who is a first baseman/corner OF type who will likely take Swisher's spot on the roster.

The Indians will be paying around 5 million of Swisher's remaining contract, so we're out around 10 million.

We'll have a lot of money to spend over the offseason, too bad it's a relatively weak FA class.

He's a good Spring, so he's earned it I guess.

That would be cool. I drove past the new stadium the other day on the way to work. It's going to be spectacular from what you can see from the road.

I heard that today as well. Apparently it was between he and Frenchy for the final roster spot.

I'm hearing we're gonna start the season with an 8 man bull pen, which gives us a 4 man bench with one of them being a backup catcher(Flowers or Lavarnway).
