The Phillies managed only two hits off Happ through the first five innings. In the sixth, they've ripped off four consecutive one-out singles to turn the Blue Jays' 4-0 lead into a one-run deficit. Maybe they can get a few more runs to get another win and not lose to a team that has a less-than .500 win-loss record.

There is a saying; if my team wants to lose, they will not win!

Dumbasses had a chance to win but let it slip away late in the game.

If Phils can’t beat a 35-year old has-been, I don’t see how they can’t go into LA and take even two of four from sthe Dodgers, unless they rediscover hitting.

Phillies will be lucky to win one out of four games VS Dodgers. This team can not hit! Averaging less than 3 runs per game in the last seven!

I agree guys. jvett hit it on the head. If ya can't hit a 35 year-old toastola pitcher, then these guys are a flash-in-the-pan offense and are doomed to a crappy end.

On the other hand, we have a group of unproven guys, at this level, who have played close to .600 ball so far and are way ahead of last year’s pace. Each game reveals both bright spots and things they need to work on. I’m actually optimistic despite some of these pathetic losses.

LA’s won 8 of 10 so this will be a tough series on the road, especially with Maikel and Odubel hitting the east LA Latin clubs every night. :thrasher: I’d be happy if we took two games though. Go Phillies, get the lead out!

This team is incapable of hitting with runners in scoring position with less than 2 outs. They do not move the runners or drive them in. Instead they strikeout. THey will be lucky to finish the season at .500!
