Absolutely CLASSIC comedy.

Airplane and Apocalypse Now got consideration, but AH is in a class of its own here.

Airplane is the only one that didn't do much for me. It was a toss up between Animal House and Apocalypse Now.... talk about 2 completely different flicks. How do you judge between those 2 ? Anyway, I went with Apocalypse Now.

I made fun of it but it was definitely a WTF moment.

I forget if that included the extended sequence with the Plaaayboy Bunnies.....

Damn... Airplane or Aliens... tough decision.

Aliens is my favorite movie of this list. But if I were to be honest with myself I think American History X was the best movie made.

A tough category. All great movies

Apocalypse Now was just a tad over the top for me as I mentioned
Airplane just a tad too silly
History X was great
Aliens was fantastic
Animal House was iconic. Animal House was a great satire of college, all the college movies afterwards were just poor copies.

After reading some of these posts I switched from Apocalypse Now, which was flawed though I still think it was great, to Animal House which was perfect and still holds up today which is unusual seeing as it was pretty much a period comedy.
