If the question is best rock (vocalist ) ?... the answer is easy.

Freddie Mercury

There are some great vocalists in Rock history but Freddie owns the title. The best.

Rob Halford or Dio.

Everybody else comes after them, although I might throw Geoff Tate in there.

Freddie Mercury is overrated as hell IMO.

Well at least you made a decent choice here.
I figured on your first post, maybe you had a stroke and just started mashing the keyboard, and by some freak coincidence the names Morrison, Daltrey and Mercury were spelled out..

Paul Rodgers is damn good for sure and is certainly at or near the top of my list.

Plant is good, but not at or near the top of my list.

Hagar is meh. He's not a stiff like Rob Halford, but he ain't nuthin special.

David Clayton Thomas had a great set of pipes. I can't say I like much of the Doors carnival music, but I have to give the drunken Jim Morrison his due, he had a great voice. Burton Cummings is another guy who could belt out a great rock tune as well.
