I will ask you the question then. How long does Perez's ERA have to hover around 3.00 or below before you start to believe that that is who he is now? Would you even believe it at the end of next season?

He's proven he is legit.
He's performing as an elite #2 SP, though I think he could still be considered this team's second "ace".

Relying too much on inconsistent guys and castoffs. The pen needs at least two serious additions, as you've said.

This SP rotation and fantastic offense, coupled with the bullpen woes, screams 80-ish wins season.
Hope they don't let the pen sink what could be a very viable shot at the playoffs.

Too much pressure it seems. You have to thrive. Really want the role. Kennedy stuff is just no more. Smith is not afraid but not nasty. JHern the best we have but we really need another guy and let him take the 8th

Zack Littell has thrown 8.1 shutout innings so far this year for Round Rock.

Joe Barlow has 6.1 shutout innings with Round Rock so far.
