Hey Dave, we are in last place. A lot of games have been a challenge for us.

Its catcher, if he's solid defensively and can hit over .200 with about 20 HRs, you're pretty happy

Chirinos has been better recently, he's about as good as we're going to see for a while, at least as far as our minor league system is concerned
Trevino IMO is better defensively with less pop. Strike outs are a concern

Good job Kela

Like I said at the beginning I kind of like the pitching match ups for tonight. HA! Figured at 5-1 Fulmer had it in the bank.

Not saying we should trade with them but the Giants are being snake bitten in losing pitchers and the Dodgers are having issues as well.

Chirinos has provided pretty good defensive value,

Trevino being better than him defensively would be marginal while Chirinos' offensive value is vastly superior to Trevino's, that guy is no where close to being a ML bat, at this point the best he'll be is a solid defensive backup if he doesn't start to learn to hit

If Chirinos can stop with the strikeouts, he'll be fine

It’s funny when it happens to someone else.

Dodgers kicked JDs ass last year.

We’ve made some good trades with San Francisco in the past. I’d rather try to deal with them.

A little early to make any determinations about the trade with the Dodgers even if you have your mind up

I understand that, but JD had the responsibility to build leverage and drum up interest. He should’ve tried harder to shop Darvish.

We all knew the circumstances. The dodgers were gearing up for a World Series run and we were offering a pitcher who would be #2 on every teams pitching staff ( #1 on some).

We all were hoping to get a walker buehler or Verducci. I don’t know much about the other prospects besides Calhoun tho. I thought we got screwed, but I guess that’s not the consensus here.

Dude, you have zero clue what JD did or did not do to build interest and value for Darvish. You also act like JD had full control over the free market. Just stop, bud.

After what Darvish had shown the last 2 seasons, what they got for him, which has really yet to be proven, was about as good as they were going to get. Dodgers weren't giving up Verducci or Buehler and I wouldn't have if I were them either. Rightfully so after what Darvish showed in the playoffs last year and then so far this season. He isn't the same pitcher he was before the arm problem and surgery.

Ok well

I guess people like the dodgers trade.

I like the giants trade for Bengie Molina even better.

I hope we make a lot of deals this year tho. I just hope we don’t trade anyone to the Astros and help them repeat.

I'm not ready to give up on the Rangers in early May. I'd appreciate it if you all would do the same.

I think a stronger and more reasonable case can be made that IKF needs more time in AAA.

definitely. IKF should stay no matter what

So when Beltre, Elvis, Odor, Profar and IKF are all here, what do you suggest. Surely it is not either sending Odor to AAA in this tryout season?
