Yeah, we tend to struggle against Keuchel... I believe he's 4 and 1 against us over his last 5 starts... But this is a new year, hopefully that trend stops tomorrow... He did give up 6 runs in his last start... Be great if we can get another series win here...

Rangers beat up on Keuchel this weekend.

And Fister has been awful.

And the Astros, overall, have been dreadful.

Nothing that a trip to Safeco against the M's can't fix for them.

(on a side note, I just noticed that Fister went to the same high school as I did. small world)

Astros also played 12 innings on Sunday Night baseball yesterday. They probably got to Seattle pretty late and have a short pen. Hopefully they take advantage tonight because I don't have much faith in Karns vs Keuchel tommorrow

Wow. I just heard from Drayer that Houston didn't get into town until about 4 am. If we can't take advantage, I'll drink a lot, or something.

I actually think the Astros match up really well against the Mariners. Sure they don't have a very good record but their offense has had decent numbers, it is their pitching that hasn't been very good. Nothing like pitching against the M's to boost those pitching numbers, I am hoping our offense can keep going in the right direction despite being in Safeco.

It's the black hole of Safeco, and Fister and all of the Astros are due to pick up in a big way.

I hope I'm wrong, but I'm not optimistic in the slightest.
