Wife is :preggers:
Waited until we hit 13 weeks to let families know as a few years ago we lost our first pregnancy a couple days shy of 12 weeks (never updated that pregnancy announcement thread here if I recall). Lost another one right after (not as long term) before being lucky to have a healthy son that is now 19 months old. Had another miscarriage before this pregnancy, but hopefully we've passed the worry stage.
Kid is due at the end of January, but they won't let us go passed the 24th with how big our son was when he was born (9lb 9.5 oz - currently at 33 lb and 35 inches tall).
Kind of want it to be another boy as we've got plenty of clothes to pass down, but I've also wanted a girl. Wife thinks it may be a girl as she's craving sweets and the heartbeat is on the upper end of the normal range that supposedly indicates a girl.
We'll see though. Either we'll have another future recruit or a cheerleader.
