As I said in the other thread, Boston would not be shut out again and I still thought they'd take the series even after the 1 hit shutout in game 1.
Boston again came out flat, but they worked the counts, got into the pen, and then struck. Ortiz came up big, but don't forget about how big Pedroia was tonight, 2-4 double, single, rbi, run. He had the hit that kept the inning alive and loaded the bases for Ortiz.
Don't expect Boston to come out flat for a 3rd straight game.
