A big thumbs up to Matt Stafford and the Superbowl bound Detroit Lions.

Stafford was actually pretty good yesterday. The Lions front 7 on defense, not so much.

Great heart by Michigan in a 3 point win over a team that lost to Akron 2 weeks ago......much more impressive of a win than Ohio State struggling to beat Penn State - Dougisms

OSU is going to destroy both Michigan and Michigan State this year. Not thrilled with the season my Spartans are having so far. So much hope with them returning 18 of 22 starters, but they all seem to be making freshman mistakes this year.

Our LBers and Safeties will whiff on a few plays and give up gashers enough to keep any game against decent teams closeish

3 team money line parlay

Tigers end up with worse record than Rangers
Tigers end up with worse record than Dbacks
Tigers end up with worse record than Indians

Easy money. Tigers have shitty team and have retarded sling blades for fans.

If you like easy money, book it. BOOM

BooM

Nailed this three team parlay. Paid 7-1

The late, semi-great, dougplayer, called it right again. The man with HEART - JV - led his team into the playoffs again. We should all know by now that HEART tops skill. Just look at Harbaugh's record against winning teams if you doubt it. Or Matt Stafford's many Superbowl rings. Or the number of times the Tigers "outhearted" the Indians over the last few years. The only thing that beats HEART is - eating Hungry Man Dinners six times a week. RIP Doug

Can't knock JV this season. Led the majors with a 0.902 WHIP and 7.84 K/BB ratio, led the AL in strikeouts for the fifth time, and posted a 2.52 ERA. Alas, that will probably earn him his third career Cy Young runner-up. Blake Snell in Tampa seems to be a shoo-in. 21-5 with a 1.89 ERA.

I'm gonna microwave a hungry man fried chicken dinner in memorial of Doug.

JD Martinez, Ian Kinsler, Annibal Sanchez, and Justin Verlander

All four are ex-Tigers who are playing key roles in this years post-season. All played for Detroit in 2015-2017 under the tandem of Ausmus and Avila Sr. They missed the post season in all those years.

4 bad teams and the winner swept out of the playoffs. Not a lot to talk about.

Oh, it is just that a small handful of former (ir)regulars, who became emotionally attached to a now band poster, threw fits and took their collective balls and went home.

"Dougie humor" ... as in "laughed at", not "laughed with" ?

both, the guy wasn't ban worthy, he was just a bit lost with the Tigers demise. Like cancelling "Life Goes On" for having evil intentions, just doesn't fit.

I agree, but doug take the thread off topic too much. He has no worse (and actually superior) than his trolls who acted like jilted groupies every time he posted.

The Cleveland Indians (not their posters) really killed this thread ... or maybe it was the other four inferior teams.

VOLTAIRE:
Sorry pal...it was YOU! I have been told that YOU and a couple of others killed this thread. It was YOU crying to administrators and then lying that got dougplayer booted. YOU! Don't shift the blame. Take it like a man or women. Ask broncosmitty and slinkyredfoot and others. They know who to blame for the end of this thread. They throw me in as a co-conspirator. I never cried to an administrator....but I accept the blame of pushing doug to his own suicide here. Why don't YOU step up?
