Uh-Oh........this sounds eerily familiar to current circumstances. Maybe our guy just needs time to "develop"

Of course he was. We all know that now, and many of us knew it when he was in DC. But my reasoning above was not so crazy at the time. And again I was explaining the firing of Marty and just offering possible reasons for hiring Norv. I was not defending the hiring of Norv.

In any event the fact is AJ Smith built some damned good teams in SD.

What good teams did AJ Smith build in SD? I give him the credit for taking two of the players that is currently on the Chargers Eric Weddle and Corey Luiget other than that most of the other players were Marty's
