I think the whole key has been they don't walk him as much as they used to...Could be because he has better protection than he used to get in Cincinnati lineups.. Then they found out he wouldn't make much contact anyway... A bonus.

Walks or not. You have to make consistent contact to be a major player in this game. He doesn't play defense and he strikes out a TON
