You just can't replace the best defensive tackle in NFL history..Rams need to be better in other aspects of the game.

They clearly need to add pass rush and should push for more upgrades at LB and DB to counter his loss, all in addition to getting DT help.

Vic Ketchman is former editor at Packers official website... he would go to Senior Bowl each year and discuss some of the college prospects. The year Donald was at the Senior Bowl all he did was discuss how he dominated.... he noted he was undersized, but he said that did not matter, this guy was a player.

He said, this is the guy the Packers need on their DL... but picking at 21 they will never have a chance at getting him, he will be gone earlier and he was right.

Well, all the hyperbole aside, mad respect to A.D. and wish him well. Enjoy being with his family and live a good life after football. Definitely on the Mt.Rushmore of all-time great defensive players. I'm about 1/2 happy he isn't destroying my team but a little sad that I don't get to watch him play anymore.

In my lifetime of watching and remembering football (roughly 1985 to present)….

Lawrence Taylor
Reggie White
Aaron Donald

In whatever order you want to pick them. No other 3 DL belong in the top 3 of best to play in that time period.
I'd put JJ Watt on that list before LT, but that's cuz LT was a LB.

Your going their....

Really????

Now for what I came for. It's a sad day for football.

This is 1B of the greatest DT of all time ( on the same boat as Mean Joe). He was a Game wrecker and 1st ballot HOFer.

Caused me ALOT of Stress, Anger and ALOT ALOT of migraines the next day.

May he enjoy his next chapter. Wouldn't mind seeing him in a TV booth one day.

Like shark said. This is coming from a guy who hated the ground the Rams walk on.
Joe Greene has no business being on the same boat as Aaron Donald.

lol, Donald is in a different league compared to Cox. Don't get me wrong Cox was good, but nowhere near Aaron's level.

Cox is LUCKY to make the HOF. Donald is a no questions asked first ballot. Cox had like three ELITE seasons. Every single season Donald played he was elite and basically the best defensive player in the league. The fact you're lumping those two names together shows how much of a homer you are. And this is coming from a Hawks fan who hates the Rams.
I don't think Cox is a hall of famer.

I bet that left a mark eh, I was hit in the face, the chin actually, with a 12 oz pepsi can full of rocks n sand once. Took14 stitches to close it up. That's the bad news The good news is dude who did it will never ever ever do it to anyone else.

Argument is there as one of the greatest DT’s ever, right behind Cortez Kennedy ! LoL ok ok, Cortez was great, but Aaron was even better, total game plan disrupter… I’d say him and Reggie White stand alone…

This will most likely be his last year. Rams will have a shit ton of cap space soon.

He's got a lot of money coming this year and next. I think he's still a Ram in 2025.

As a Seahawk fan this day couldn't have come sooner, thank freaking god he is gone. He was literally Freddy Kreuger to us. No matter what gameplan changes we make, roster moves done and prayer prayed he would always be killing us.
