You guys just need to go to a live practice and see what's happening for yourself. When Dobson was on the PUP he was still out on the field everyday.....just no contact. Because he couldn't have contact, he wasn't lining up with the team for plays. He absolutely will not be on the field for preseason unless the medical staff and Bill Belichick are fully confident that the foot can take whatever may be waiting.

I expect to see Dobson on the practice field this week because Tyms is 6'3" and 220 lbs. Dobson's biggest assest was that he is 6'3" 2212 lbs. He now has competition and the competition can run routes and catch passes. Time to get off your ass and play some football or get your resume together for a job back home.

March 12 2014. It is now late August. 5 months?????
I have been thinking Josh Boyce is the man on the bubble but after 4 games will NE still be patient with Dobson? I suppose but it would be good for him to show something before Tyms suspension is lifted.....

It's better to be overly cautious. You want it fully healed. It's not something you cast and play with. Your feet carry everything. Dobson's a 2nd round pick versus Boyce, a 4th.

No way Tyms takes Dobson spot. He hasn't even played a game with Brady, yet. Hopefully that changes tonight.

Tyms stays but Boyce was invisible. tyms made big plays again - one called back.
Lafell looked awful. He gets open - that's good. The stone hands were obvious tonight. He dropped 3 passes that bounced off his hands. What happens when the rock gets cold?

I agree on being careful with Dobson. Dobson and Gronk are goint to need to ease into playing time.
Tyms will be gone for 1st 4 games......
