He was never drafted to start day one. Love is to Aaron Rodgers what Aaron Rodgers was to Brett Favre.
I disagree, Rodgers was projected to be the first QB drafted in 2005 while Love had a checkered college career and some experts had him going in the 2nd round. It is early but I don't believe Love will be anything special.

While the verdict is still out and tbh I never watched him in college, whether he was a 2nd round or late 1st round pick he was still a pick for the future. They are using him just as they used Rodgers, let him sit 3-4 years and play when he has developed. Same concept, whether he was taken early or not...they liked him enough to think he doesn't last till their late 2nd round pick.

He isn't even Rodgers back up. Tim Boyle who was an undrafted free agent beat him out to back up Rodgers.

Rogers is good for at least 2-3 more seasons, and just like he had to be patient and ride pine for 3 years during Favre's reign, Love will have to do likewise.

If Love had any ability he'd be Rodger's backup.

Too early. They're just burying him on the depth chart to give him time to develop. We'll know what he is down the road
Maybe the Cowboys should trade for him.

I would be pretty god damn sour right now if I were Rodgers and I was looking at how the rookie WR's drafted after Love are looking right now.

A Tee Higgins or Chase Claypool would sure give him a lot more options out there during playoff time. Their WR's other than Adams (who right now should be in everyone's top 5 at least) suck ass. There isn't a legit NFL starter in the group.

I projected him as a bust before the draft and I still stand by those words. He has plenty of time to make me change my mind though. I just don’t see it happening.

Love is currently 3rd on the Packs depth chart. He can't even beat out some dude named Tim Boyle.

Did people view A. Rodgers as a bust when he was 7 games into the season his rookie year?
no. They were still trying to figure out if Favre was retiring or not LOL

Exactly my point... Rodgers wasn't even playing - just like Love...
Rodgers was Favre's backup but Love doesn't even suit up for the games. He is on the inactive list on game day.

The experts don't know crap which is why its funny when people grade draft picks and root for their team to draft particular guys based on mock drafts. Not only is it one person opinion, it's also literally one persons opinion because they all just copy off each others mocks. One went 24th and one went 26th and both went after other QBs. I'd say that puts the way NFL teams viewed them as pretty similar on draft day. Now whether or not their careers will end up the same is of course a much different topic. I also tend to think Love will not end up as anything special, but I guess who knows at this point.
