And yet you want Dallas to trade Cooper for him?Rodgers was Favre's backup but Love doesn't even suit up for the games. He is on the inactive list on game day.

Yes, he was so highly thought of as the number 1 pick that no other team that needed a QB jumped up to snag him. One team liked it him at so quit pretending he was projected number 1.I disagree, Rodgers was projected to be the first QB drafted in 2005 while Love had a checkered college career and some experts had him going in the 2nd round. It is early but I don't believe Love will be anything special.
Rodgers was projected to be the first QB taken in the 2005 draft. That is a fact.Yes, he was so highly thought of as the number 1 pick that no other team that needed a QB jumped up to snag him. One team liked it him at so quit pretending he was projected number 1.
I'm going to call him a bust. A first round pick that isn't good enough to even back up the starting QB is a bust.He hasn't played a down. Can't call him a bust until he gets a couple years of playing time.
19 other teams missed on Rodgers or did not need Qb at the time. 12 other teams could not or would not trade up for him. GB picked him and sat him behind Farve . Were they smart or just lucky the other 19 teams did not pick him or the other 12 did not move up. Sometimes it’s just being in the right place at the right time. Like the poor schmoe that drops a dollar on the 30 million dollar slot on the way out of the casino and hits .Rodgers was projected to be the first QB taken in the 2005 draft. That is a fact.
Alex Smith went to San Francisco with the first pick of the 2005 draft. Mike Nolan was the head coach and Mike McCarthy was the offensive coordinator.19 other teams missed on Rodgers or did not need Qb at the time. 12 other teams could not or would not trade up for him. The FO took a lot of flack for selecting him so maybe keeping him as the third QB and keeping Rodgers happy that he doesn't have to look over his shoulder could be a possibility.I'm going to call him a bust. A first round pick that isn't good enough to even back up the starting QB is a bust.
The fans in Green Bay are very unhappy with the GM. They feel he should have selected a WR with the first pick. The FO took a lot of flack for selecting him so maybe keeping him as the third QB and keeping Rodgers happy that he doesn't have to look over his shoulder could be a possibility.
I thought they would have gone that route as well but the FO obviously has different plans. The fans in Green Bay are very unhappy with the GM. They feel he should have selected a WR with the first pick.
No Rodgers vs Smith was split. You called rashan Gary a bust after one game or something last year too.I disagree, Rodgers was projected to be the first QB drafted in 2005 while Love had a checkered college career and some experts had him going in the 2nd round. It is early but I don't believe Love will be anything special.
He was never drafted to start day one. Love is to Aaron Rodgers what Aaron Rodgers was to Brett Favre.
He still wasn't drafted to start this year though, which is more the point.I disagree, Rodgers was projected to be the first QB drafted in 2005 while Love had a checkered college career and some experts had him going in the 2nd round. It is early but I don't believe Love will be anything special.
The only reason Rodgers or smith were cobsidered for #1 was San Fran needed a qb...... they weren’t #1 talents.....easy to claim all this on Rodgers now. But he wasn’t this can’t miss HOF prospectExcept Aaron Rodgers was a considerable #1 overall pick selection, had VERY good QB IQ out of College, and the 49ers whiffed and chose Smith. Just turns out ZERO teams needed a QB until the Packers picked.
Love was an early 2nd BOOM/BUST pick because he had all the intangibles but his football IQ was pretty much at a peewee level.
Comparing Rodgers to Love is about the stupidest thing that anyone can say... it's good, because it's at least told me who to ignore in terms of analysts, websites, users on this forum, etc.
Could Love work out? lol, sure. That's not what my post is about, it's about the dumbass people that compare the Love pick to Rodgers.
