I''m gonna have to hit Petco this weekend.

edit: 2nd in NL in Jul in HRs. Maybe the baseball gods are making up for the second half of '16.

The really 2010 thing about this year is the low expectations. We were not thinking 2010 title, we thought maybe ready in 2011. So it had that fun surprise feel. This reminds me a bit of that, we had zero expectations for this team and now hey we get to have a playoff chase. That's fun, that's why we watch...

It would be sweet to end the decade as it started. And given Noggin a chance for 4 in 10

Listening to the game on the mlb app. We had another tornado today and no power. They sent us a message we might not have power for a few days. Camping in the house.

wow!

I love the At Bat app!

Tornados in Cape Cod?

Who knew?

Damn this team is killing it!

Bum was good, but not great. Moronta was disappointing, but the rest of the bully was incredible.

I approve this game.

It does seem like all batters except DickDickDick are coalescing around the .250 mark.

Its like the second half team of 2019 was taken back in time and traded out for the 1st half team of 2016.

You are too kind to me, and too harsh on yourselves. I didn't disagree with your premises.

I'm just an optimistic fan who saw some opportunities I thought were there.

Little did I know that they virtually would ALL flip our way.

Long way to go however. The clubhouse must be so stoked.

Edit: I would add that at this point given what we've seen that I would be in favor of keeping our bullpen intact vs trading even one of them. These extra inning games have been won in large part due to our relative advantage in the bullpens. We end up facing some pretty marginal relief pitchers in the late innings, our opponents do not. That is a big advantage.

What an awful night for the Panda

2 GIDP

An almost costly error
Excellent reverse jinxage. Well played. Bravo!

Edit: tzill beat me to it. Sign of the End Times.

It's a fair point but we literally have the best available (?) pen trade chips, if they make a great offer I expect FZ to bite. And it might not be just future prospects, it may be someone to help us win this year. Trade from a surplus to a need.

And no matter how it turns out, this season is officially a fun one and not the chore it looked like at first
